Caroline Hoetzer is a greyhound rescuer and activist, currently studying Veterinary Science at Sydney University.
After graduating from law school in 2004, Caroline worked as a solicitor, academic and volunteer legal researcher for Voiceless.
After rescuing her first greyhound in 2001, Caroline has dedicated her life to the cause. She is an active volunteer and Committee member for Greyhound Rescue NSW, assisting in facilitating adoptions and foster carers in Sydney and Newcastle.
Caroline's constant companions are her two rescue greyhounds, Ruby and Duke, and together with a regular flow of foster greyhounds in the household, they provide a daily reminder of the importance of speaking out for animals.
Caroline also contributes to the development of animal law as a member of the Editorial Advisory Panel for the Australian Animal Protection Law Journal.
