Ever wondered how well animals are protected under legislation in different countries? Want to compare how well your country is doing to prevent cruelty?

Over the last couple of years, WSPA has been undertaking an ambitious research project to identify the legal status of selected animal welfare concerns across every country around the world. The findings enable us to compare the ‘state’ of national legislation in relation to key animal welfare indicators, to determine which countries have more robust laws and see where others are not providing adequate legislative protection for the animals in their country.
