An Investigation into Lamb Slaughter, Italy

Our vice-president Dr Adele Lloyd has joined with Bernard Rollin, John Sorenson and Dr Lorelei Wakefield to help the European animal protection organisation, Animals Equality with their investigation into slaughter practices in the Italian lamb industry.

The work received fantastic media coverage in Italy, being featured on one of the most important television broadcasts (reaching over 6,000,000 viewers), and receiving media in national newspapers including Corriere della Sera, Leggo and Libero.

Adele’s entire statement has also been used in the legal report, which will be sent to the Italian authorities and other experts.
