New Centre for Animal Welfare

Congratulations to Sentient member Andrew Knight, Professor of Animal Welfare and Ethics and now Director of the new Centre for Animal Welfare at the University of Winchester, launched on 21st May. The rise in professorships and specialised centres of animal welfare at universities is a sign of the growing importance of animal welfare and ethics in society. We wish the centre all the best and look forward to following their work.
